Slide 20 of 21: Bruce Lee, whose name will forever be synonymous with martial arts, was diagnosed with a cerebral edema after collapsing on a Hong Kong set for The Game of Death. A few months later, Lee took an Equagesic tablet containing aspirin and a tranquillizer for a headache and never woke up. The medication caused a severe allergic reaction leading to brain swelling. The movie Enter the Dragon, which would make Lee a star in America, came out a month after his death. Lee only managed to shoot about 40 minutes of Game of Death. These scenes were used to finish the movie five years later. A double was used as well as images from other film shoots.
